All The Books I Can Read

1 girl….2 many books!

Looking Forward to 2011 {Part 6}

on December 22, 2010

I know, I know, enough with the challenges already! BUT this is just a little one!

Maree over at Just Add Books (And @justaddbooks on twitter) is hosting a Kiwi YA fiction challenge in 2011. Given that I’m so close to NZ but rather ignorant about their literature, I’m planning on taking part in this challenge, and also in her mini-challenge, which is also NZ based and will be held in March to coincide with NZ Literacy Week.

The New Zealand YA Challenge runs from 1st Jan – 31st Dec 2011 and there are a couple of levels to choose from:

  • Level 1: Read 3 YA novels during the course of 2011 by NZ authors
  • Level 2: Read 6 YA novels during the course of 2011 by NZ authors
  • Level 3: Read 9 YA novels during the course of 2011 by NZ authors
  • Level 4: Read 12 YA novels during the course of 2011 by NZ authors

I’m aiming for level 2 atm. I can always change levels at a later date but I think that with Maree’s help with recommendations, I should easily be able to manage 6 YA novels during 2011.
