About The Girl
I have been an avid reader as long as I can remember. I can’t imagine not having books around to read. I decided to start this blog as in 2010 I wanted to do a 50 Book Challenge – where I challenged myself to read 50 new books during the year. I was posting what I had read and my thoughts on my personal blog, just to keep a record for myself when I decided that it was clogging up that blog too much and that it deserved a blog all of its own. I googled Book Review Blogs and was happily surprised at the number of wonderful blogs out there.
In terms of ‘about me’, I am 30 and mother to one toddler and one newborn. I’m married and my husband has as much of a problem with reading and buying books as I do. Combined we own close to 800 books and the collection grows by the day. Space is definitely getting to be a problem. I buy most of my books online now – it’s the only way I can really purchase as many books as I do, even though I spend a lot of time wishing I could purchase even more!
I can be contacted at 1girl2manybooks {@} gmail {.} com for requests to review or just a general chat! I love hearing from people that enjoy reading and books just as much as I do.

Welcome to the blog world Bree!
Bree is the nickname (for Breehy-hinny-brinny-hoohy-hah) of a character in the Narnia tales of C.S. Lewis.(Although I’m not an expert about these books. I just collect names in a notebook.) The book in the series with Bree is The Horse and HIs Boy. Maybe your Bree is from that, or, if not, delightful happenstance for the dedicated reader that you are.

Nice to “meet” you! Thanks for stopping by my blogs and taking the time to comment. Glad you’re enjoying book blogging – it’s addictive!

hi i happen to cum across this site recently and read your review for the book The faithful place and read the book later nenjoyed it very much could u please reccomend other books too thanks.
Hi, came across you while looking through Broke and Bookish Top Ten Tuesday meme (I just discovered her blog today). I’m with you on Enid Blyton, she turned me into a re-reader as a child too.
Reading your ‘about’ page and how space is becoming a problem made me think of a book you may like. It’s called The Paper House by Carlos Maria Dominguez. It’s about bibliophiles and peoples’ passion for books that literally take over their lives and their homes! It’s beautifully written and filled with so many insights into books and why people love them.
Anyway, thought you’d enjoy. Deborah.
Just wanted to drop you a note to say I’m loving your blog! I found you a couple days ago (I think from a review you posted on Amazon but I can’t remember the book).
I have a been massively at a loss for good books since the year started and reading your reviews gives me a really good idea of whether I’ll like it or not.
I read Good Girls last night and it was excellent and I’ll probably give Forbidden a try after I finish Extremely Loud and Incredibly close.
I also thought I would throw in my own recommendation – Claire Lazebnik has several books I love. A little deeper than Sophia Kinsella/Meg Cabot, but still a fairly quick read. I think my favorite was “If you lived here you’d be home by now” but I really love them all.
Thanks for the recommendations!
Brandyn
Hi Bree,
Just thought I would check out your blog – it looks great! Nice to “meet” another avid reader. I’ll make sure to keep checking in. It’s fun keeping a blog (I have my website and a blog – Each Day a Gift and Write Note Reviews), but do you ever find it’s hard to fit in with all the reading?

Hi Monique, there are times when blogging definitely gets in the way of reading – usually then I just shove it aside and pick up another book!
I’m shocking for keeping on top of my reviews usually (am actually up to date at the moment, strangely enough!) but there are days when I am 9 or so reviews behind. Usually I just have to set some time aside after I’ve finished my current read, but before I’ve chosen my next read. I’m indecisive so that time can be easily long enough and just get the reviews churned out. I have a bit of a “formula” now for writing my reviews that I’ve been sticking to for a while and I find that it’s quite easy to stick to that. Although there are some books that are just so amazingly hard to write about!
Hi, I just wanted to let you know I nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award (though please don’t be offended if you have more than 200 followers!) http://mugslife.wordpress.com/2012/05/08/liebster-award-dos/ I love your posts and wanted to give you a mention
happy reading!
